The screen and the vehicle
The vehicle is often called a digivan: a van carrying a large digital LED billboard. Ours measure up to approximately 11 square metres, and the exact screen specification varies between vehicles.
Because the screen is digital, it shows bright moving or still adverts and can rotate several adverts in turn. Because it is on a vehicle, it can be taken to the areas that matter to the businesses advertising on it.
How adverts share the screen
Most campaigns share the screen. Each advert takes its turn in a rotation during the scheduled times. On our Rush Hour Advertising campaign, for example, each 15-second advert appears in rotation Monday to Friday within the 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm windows, approximately 50 times a day.
Themed micro campaigns group similar businesses together, such as places to eat or local garages, and run at selected locations and times across the week.
Where the screen goes
Locations are planned rather than fixed. You can ask for particular areas, and each location has to be suitable for the vehicle and available at the time. Route planning is part of every booking with us, and we do not publish fixed routes.
From enquiry to your advert on screen
You choose a campaign, or ask us to recommend one. We talk through what you want to promote and where, and give you a quote. We then help prepare your artwork, which is included free, and nothing goes on screen until you approve it. Your advert is scheduled onto the screens and goes live at the agreed locations, and we send you photographs of it running.
Need to change the message? Adverts can be updated within 24 hours, so a new offer or date does not mean waiting for anything to be printed.
