Mobile Billboards vs Traditional Billboards

Both put your advert on a big surface in a public place, but they work quite differently. Here are the main differences to help you decide which suits your business.

Fixed site or chosen locations

A traditional billboard stays on one site for the length of the booking, so its value depends on that one spot. A mobile billboard is on a vehicle, so it can be positioned in selected locations, subject to suitability and availability.

Printed poster or digital screen

Traditional billboards usually carry a printed poster, which has to be designed, printed and pasted up, and replaced if the message changes. A digital screen shows your artwork electronically, so it can be updated quickly. With us, adverts can be changed within 24 hours.

One advert or a rotation

A static billboard shows one advert all the time. A digital screen usually rotates several adverts, each appearing at regular intervals during the scheduled times.

Which is right for you?

If one particular site is perfect for your business, a fixed billboard can make sense. If your customers are spread across a town or several towns, or your message changes often, a mobile digital billboard is worth considering. See the areas we cover or read how our campaigns work.
