How to Promote a New Business Launch

Opening a new business, or moving to new premises, is the moment when people most need to hear about you. A little planning makes the most of it.

Start before you open

Let people know what is coming and when. A few weeks of advertising before the opening date builds anticipation, and a push in the opening week gives people a reason to visit.

Say three things

What you are, where you are and when you open. If you have an opening offer, say that too. On a large screen seen in passing, short and clear beats clever and long.

Be seen in the right places

Focus on the area around your premises and the routes people take to get there. A mobile digital billboard can be positioned in selected locations near you, subject to suitability and availability.

Use every channel

Combine outdoor advertising with your website, social media, local groups and word of mouth. Photographs of your advert on the screen can help announce your launch online too.

Keep going after opening day

Many people need to see a new name a few times before they visit. Consider continuing with a regular campaign after your launch. Our bespoke advertising covers business launches, one-day advertising and weekly or monthly campaigns.
